Weekly Spotlight - Redemption Hills

Give Me a Reason
From NYT and USA Today bestselling author A.L. Jackson comes a single-dad, enemies-to-lovers stand-alone romance about a jaded club owner and his son’s teacher…

Eden Murphy came into my club looking to make some extra cash.
A girl like her didn't belong in a place like this.
She'd get ripped to shreds.
Most likely by me.

There's nothing but sweetness dripping from her sexy little body, and I'm the monster who's salivating to get a taste.

Trent Lawson is the last man I should want.
Dark.
Dangerous.
So wickedly gorgeous he makes my knees weak.
He's also an arrogant jerk who happens to be my new boss.

When I discover his adorable son is also in my kindergarten class, I know I have to keep my distance.

But neither of us can ignore the attraction that flames.
One glance, and our hearts race.
One touch, and we’re aching for what we can’t have.
One night, and we’re falling fast.

Dragging her into my sordid world is wrong.
It doesn’t matter.
Eden Murphy is mine.

Say It’s Forever
Jud Lawson found me stranded in the rain. Broken down on the side of the road in a deserted neighborhood with my piece of crap car. I wasn't looking for a hero, and definitely not one who looks like him.

An obscenely hot, mountain-of-a-man who screams danger .But I have little choice other than climbing onto the back of his bike.
One look at Salem Aguilar, and I'm hooked. The girl is devastation wrapped in a black, seductive bow.
A knockout.
A dream.

Turns out, she needs a job, and I need the help. Now I have a vixen strutting around my shop, and I'm the fool who's itching to reach out and take what he can't have .But neither of us can ignore the burning attraction. The fire that leads to a kiss.

A kiss that has us falling into my bed. The connection that has me wanting the one thing I'd never thought I could have again. Because monsters like me don't deserve love.

Only Salem has a secret, too. She's been running for years, and her past just caught up to us...

Never Look Back
From NYT and USA Today bestselling author A.L. Jackson comes an enemies-to-lovers, small-town, second-chance romance…

Logan Lawson won me in a bet.
The second I saw him sitting at the illegal card table, I knew I was in trouble.
Years ago, he sealed my fate and condemned me to a life I didn’t want to lead.
Yet he’s filled with untamed fury and thirsting for vengeance.

Aster Costa is everything I never should have wanted.
The second she showed, I should have gotten up and walked.
But there’s no looking away from the woman who wrecked me.
Worse, I can’t stop myself from plotting to get her back.

I want nothing more than to be free of my chains.
I’m afraid Logan Lawson is the only one who can make that happen.
He might hate me for our past, but now it’s me on my knees begging for help.

Finding each other in the middle of it wasn’t supposed to be part of the bargain.
But once Logan touches me, I’m gone.
A torch is rekindled. A fire is lit.

Aster Costa has always been mine.
And this time, no matter the cost, I won’t give her back…

Promise Me Always

I should know better than to let Tessa McDaniels pretend to be my fiancée.
I’m a dark, dangerous disaster who leaves destruction in his wake.

But when she offers to pretend to marry me to help me get my kids back, I can’t refuse. They are the one thing I have left to fight for.

Milo Hendricks found me at my lowest.
Battered and broken by my ex with no place to call home. When he insists I stay at his cabin with him, he sparks the feelings I’ve tried to suppress.
He’s only supposed to be my friend, but every time he comes in the room, he makes my knees weak.
This gorgeous, tatted, mountain-of-a-man who’s riddled with secrets.

Tessa is everything I crave but can’t have.
I shouldn’t touch her.
Shouldn’t make it real.
But she’s a red-headed flame I can’t resist, and I can’t help but take her to my bed.

Now we’re falling into an abyss of passion and need.
Loving her is easy.
Only we’re tied in ways we don’t know.
I’ll do anything to protect her, but it’s my past that might destroy her in the end...

My Review: Salem is such a sweet character and she shines even more when she lets the walls down and truely lives. Her daughter Juni is sweet and sassy that just grabs your heart.

Salem is back home with her family. Trying to make a life, trying to outrun her past and finally have a real life and home for herself and Juni.

Jud is this giant, all muscle, tattoo guy that you'd think twice about approaching but if you get to know him, hes more than what meets the eye. He shows it by helping Salem when he spots her onbthe side of the road in a storm with her car broken down. So he offers her a ride to his place above the shop he owns.

Now, this should be the part where stranger danger comes in. You know, dont go with them, run for help, the whole nine yards. But um Salem will stab him if he touches her so that lesson just didnt exisit right there.

Salem and Jud make it to his place above the shop. He offers her the guest room for the night, dries her clothes and really shows underneath all the demons he has, there is someone who is kind and worthy of love.

Nothing shouldve come after this, and nothing was expected to. The next morning, Salem wasnt expecting Jud go tow her car in and work on it, let alone he was her brothers boss. Her brother, who about lost it when he saw her at the shop.

Salem offers to help Jud with the office side of things to help with the cost of his help, she doesnt like to accept handouts. Plus Jud had been looking for help so a win for both.

The day both Gage and Juni got to learn to ride their bikes. Watching Trent with Gabe and Jud with Juni. It hit Salem hard and she knew there was no denying it.

She found her home, became part of the family and everything was falling into place.

It only took one night to shake everything up. Jud revealing a nightmare. Salem recalling what Jud had just said. Her ex finding them. In a matter of moments everything changes and the pace is sped up.

The way Jud went after them. Protecting Juni, freeing Salem and with a little time, finding their way back to each other and never letting go again. The three of them becoming a family.

My Review: Eden is amazing. A lovely person, a kindergarten teacher, a ballet teacher and now a server (hopefully). Things are tough for her family and she is in need for some extra cash to save her fathers home and their school. So a server at the hotest club it is.

Very reluctantly, Trent gives Eden the job. He knows this isnt the kind of place for her...

Besides the club, Trents son and brothers are his family. His son is his reason for everything. He will do anything for Gabe and it shows. Trent's surprise also shows when Eden happens to be Gabes teacher.

Teach then work at the club and make enough to help her family. Its all it should have been. But Eden and Trent were undeniable.

Eden is trying with all she has to be there for Trent and see him for who he is. Trent is trying but his past haunts him and even more so when a message is left behind for him via Eden's car....

Surprises, shock and many screts come out. Its an emotional ride for Eden and Trent. When Eden finds out the truth about her sister, Gabe and a way to save Trent.

Through it all, I loved them. I loved watching Eden and Trent grow into this little family and Gabe being a joy all throughout and an ending that made you swoon and know it was going to be okay.
