My Review: I'm so heartbroken to see this series end. This one was an absolute favorite and one I'll always recommend to folks. 

Thea now has way more than planning a wedding on her plate. Newly crowned, magic is awakened, lives bonded, a wedding, the rites and people not exactly happy she is queen. Yeah....but at least she has Julian by her side. Who is kinda now king consort which is a first.

But of course first things first, Thea and Julian have some catching up to do before navigating this new life. Together they will make it known to all they are in this together and if Thea's first address at court was shocking then just wait to see how the rest of her day goes. 

As the book progresses, I could not put it down. The surprises were so damn good, seriously I can't say enough how much I loved this series. It's also a great series that could have a few spin offs with books on Julian's family (hint hint).

My Review: I absolutely love this series that I devoured this book in a day. 

Julian broke Thea's heart. While he remains in Paris, Thea rushes home at news that her mother is back in the hospital. So Thea not only has all of that to deal with, but doing it with a broken heart is no joke. Her best friend had to basically drag her away to have lunch and some sense of normality. 

Julian on the other hand is drowning his sorrows, or at least trying to. Vampire don't easily get drunk, but regardless, Julian is doing no better either. 

Putting aside everything that's happened and the reasoning behind it, Julian makes the choice to go back and get his mate. Julian's return is bittersweet. Yes, he made the financial stress go away. Yes, Thea has her own mixed feelings. But the true shocker is Thea's mom instantly knowing what Julian is and as if things weren't complicated enough, that brought up way more questions. 

Fast-forward and things are picking up. Thea and Julian move in together. Thea has her final and meets someone who has her own secret. Someone from the past emerges and brings shock to both Julian and Thea. 

But the best part of all? Julian and Thea finally becoming mates in every way possible. They are meant to be, bonded for life, and true soulmates. Everything just seems to be amazing for them. But will it continue to be when they head off to Greece to deal with his family, the council and the rites?

Well... let's just say it's been damn interesting, otherwise I will spoil every damn thing there is about this book because it's just that amazing. 

I love this series. Thea and Julian are doing so well, the second rite completed, Thea standing up to Julian's mother in the BEST way and finally getting answers to just what Thea is.
