Water dripped from strands of his hair and his long eyelashes as I stared into his deep eyes. My blood was freezing. Neither of us said a thing, not a thing. We just stared. We stared and gazed, just gazed… and I hated it. I'd been wishing that this moment never came… but it came. It finally happened.

“This
isn't a goodbye.” I heard him whisper.
I could only nod.
“You should go.” He whispered again this time.
I heard myself whisper, “I can't.” My voice broke.
“Please don't make it harder on yourself.” He whispered back.
I nodded, staring at his painfully pretty eyes. A sigh left my mouth, forming a cloud in front of my face.
I looked down. Tears grazed down my face.
“Look up at me and smile.”
“Okay.”
Gosh, I smiled so big. I smiled like an idiot, a moron, blinded by love. I smiled so painfully.
“That's my girl. Good job.”
Tears dripped down my chin.
“Until we meet again.” He said and I smiled through the tears.
And I felt my hands grab the umbrella, my body turned around and my feet began dragging me.
I could only nod.
