Persephone and Hades are engaged. In retaliation, Demeter
summons a snowstorm that cripples New Greece, and refuses to lift the blizzard
unless her daughter calls off her engagement.
When the Olympians intervene, Persephone finds
her future in the hands of ancient gods, and they are divided. Do they allow
Persephone to marry Hades and go to war with Demeter or prohibit their union
and take up arms against the God of the Dead?
Nothing is certain but the promise of war.
My Review: Damn...this series has gotten
addictive.
Sephy and Hades are planning a wedding! Well more like Hecate
is, but Sephy is trying. Between starting a new business, the war her mother has
started, attacks on Gods, etc. Wedding isn't exactly at the top of her
list.
Things are tense right now. Goddess have been attacked, one
even killed. This needs to stop and worst of all, Persephone was given
information about the attack that just makes everything worse. Take a guess who
could be a part of this chaos and has it out for Sephy too.
Oh and her life as a mortal is sort of over now that she has
been outed as a Goddess. While all of that is going on, Sephy still needs to
work to know what her power is and train to control and use it. She has made
strides in that area but there is more she hasn't tapped into yet.
But there is good news in all of this! Hades and Persephone
got Zeus's blessing to marry. But of course waiting pretty much
isn't the strong suit so Hades brings up eloping and next thing you know they
are married!
It's
after all of that, that things start to take a turn... a demi god has come into
the underworld and released even more war upon things.
