My Review: Hollis never imagined being Queen. She knew Jameson was fond of her, but she received more requests to join the King, receive all kinds of luxurious goods. Hollis is starting believe that this is it. Sooner or later Jameson will ask her to be his bride and the Queen.
I love how Hollis just stayed true to herself. She is beautiful and carries herself well. She may not grasp everything thing, but in due time she will learn. Just being herself attracted the King. She makes him laugh, smile and truly can speak her mind with him. It seems almost too perfect.
As Hollis began to realize the idea of being Queen, she hadn't expected for this family seeking sanctuary to change all that. The family is kind and skilled and just wants peace from their insane King. One of the sons happens to change Hollis feelings. She felt love, real love and it's so strong and real, that it's worth risking the crown for.
Kiera once again delivers that heart grabbing read that I have come to love from her. There's no denying she has a knack for romance.
