I’m a lot of things.
The youngest Dixon. Town handyman. Best you’ll
ever have . . . you’re welcome.
One thing I’m not? The guy who falls in love.
When Rae Jacobs enters my town with her
ever-present laptop and caffeine addiction, she offers me a fleeting glance and
a simple demand:
Don’t fall in love with her.
Bold.
Assuming.
Laughable, considering she isn’t exactly my
type.
Wasn’t.
But she inadvertently shook up my life with her
alluring, carefree spirit until I wanted more.
Until I made her mine.
She’s a habit I can’t quit. A fix I can’t get
enough of.
Each day brings me closer to saying the three words
I’ve always mocked.
But with one call, the piled-high secrets she’s
kept start unraveling around her, and I have a feeling the demand that first
day wasn’t so simple.
My Review: My heart strings....I can't say enough about the emotions I went through in this book but it's everything I expected and more from Molly! (Then again, do I ever not love her work)
Rae is my kind of girl, book loving, writing
and COFFEE addict. She just came to this nice small town to relax, get some
quite time and write her book (and run away from life). What she didn't expect
was to be stared at so hard, because it was just that small of a town. Oh and
this pushy Sawyer who wants to make sure she's eating and her big rule of don't
fall in love with her.
Yeah well.....
Sawyer kind of, no, totally did break that
rule. Once he finally got to truly know the real Rae he was hooked and in love.
It took some pushing on Sawyers part, even though he wasn't looking for love,
he did end up finding it in Rae.
The struggle these two go through it just
tore through me and I loved every second of it. Sawyer want's so badly to
understand Rae and Rae isn't used to this and always has her guard up and it
trying hard to figure out how to do all this. But that ending, it was something
they truly deserved.
