Sometimes life leaves a mark.

Most days, Andrea doesn’t know whether she wants to kiss Tanner or punch him in the gut. He is seriously hot, with legit bedroom eyes and that firefighter body of his, but he’s a major player, and they can’t get along for more than a handful of minutes. Until now.

Tanner knows he and Andrea have had an epic love/hate relationship for as long as he can remember, but he wants more love than hate from her. He wants her. Now. Tomorrow. But the more he gets to know her, the more it becomes obvious that Andrea has a problem. She’s teetering on the edge, and every time he tries to catch her, she slips through his fingers.

Andrea’s life is spiraling out of control, and it doesn’t matter that Tanner wants to save her, because when everything falls apart and she’s speeding toward rock bottom, only she can save herself.

Sometimes life makes you work for that happily ever after…

My Review: Another amazing book by Jennifer, and this time around its all about Andrea and Tanner. You know in the firs book they butt heads and act like there is something more between them. But we never got to know about them until now and there are a lot of twists I didn't expect.

Andrea decided she didn't want to go to med school anymore and wants to be a teacher. Now her parents aren't really happy and want her to be a doctor just like they are. Well thats not what she wants. When she's not in school, she'll be volunteering or drinking. And she loves a good drink, sometimes a bit too much and things get a little tough. But she is amazing and smart and lovely, but this drinking thing is going to kill her if she doesn't get a handle on this.

Then you have Tanner. He's a firefighter, with the looks to match. He's bright and the ladies love him, but he's not what you'd expect. He may seem like the guy to just take someone home, but he's really better than that. And boy does he prove it and the fact that he has a lot of patience. Because when it came to Andrea, he would need a lot of it and some will power.

During a trip with their friends, things were going just fine, until they put aside everything and finally gave into the feelings they've been trying to hide. It's all great at first, but then things get tough and this trip ended quickly and it was really hard on Andrea.

They want this happy ever after, and to get there Andrea will have to hit rock bottom. But Tanner will be there and this time they will make it work and have this happy ever after.

This book will tear at you, but its so so worth the read.
