Great beauty hides dark secrets...
Seventeen-year-old Anastasia Lockhart has never led an easy life, but when she starts getting into serious trouble, she’s sent to live with her grandparents in Cedar Falls. The small, picturesque town hasn’t changed since she visited four years ago, with one exception – the presence of a handsome, mysterious boy named Frost. Despite warnings from her grandparents and friends to stay away from Frost, Anastasia can’t deny their attraction, and the more time they spend together, the deeper in love they fall. Unfortunately, Frost has a secret that is beyond Anastasia’s wildest imagination, and she soon finds herself in the midst of a supernatural legend that has haunted Cedar Falls for years.
Can Anastasia and Frost’s love really overcome anything, or are their fates much darker?
My Review: Ana hasn't had it easy, but has been a pretty good person. Then she ends up getting into some trouble and gets sent to live with her grandparents. So it could be good or bad for her. It's the same place as last time. Nothing new to wonder about, although there is a cute new guy in town.
So Ana notices the attraction between her and Frost. However, its not a good idea and she should stay away from him. Well, she isn't going to listen and wants to be with Frost. She they spend some time together and soon Ana finds out this small town has a huge secret.
The legend is not really a a legend. The supernatural is there and Ana just found herself thrown in.
The build up was done just right. It kept dragging you in deeper into the story and the twists would come at just the right moment. I loved this book and its worth the read.
