With Eris vanished from the realms, one would think that it was time for those who defeated her to relax – but no, there were many more working for "The Darkness" than merely Eris and now there are many more willing to fight against it – including Kitty's son, the adventurous and mischievous Prince Thor, a boy that had grown up at the shadow of his parents.
Not only the Darkness is at bay though, but the masterminds of the Land Above All Clouds must work on uncovering who the marked "child of darkness" is going to be as well – and of course find a way to stop this prophecy from being fulfilled.
None of this is easy, but it gets harder when the soon-to-be Allmother and Allfather of the Land are kidnapped and put on their own dungeons though...
My Review: I loved book one, but this book was even better. I love Ana's writing.
Anywho, Kitty and Tom are just wanted to enjoy being parents. But the witch has decided otherwise. There are still a lot working for the darkness, that even includes Kittys son.
Besides finding a way to stop the darkness. They must also figure out who the marked child is, stop the child, and hope things can go back to some kind of normal.
In such a short story, Ana brought details, feels, addiction. Everything was perfect and I can't wait to read more by her!
