Sweet Temptation is a companion novel, not meant to be a stand alone story. It will definitely be a richer experience for those who have read the original trilogy.
My Review: I can't even begin to say how freaking excited I was to see this book arrive! I love this series and was over the moon to read Kai's story!
Part one of the book is sorta of a recap. Kai being in a band, having to work and proving his worth to the duke. Kai has the looks and everything you could expect from being the son of lust. He's just being Kai and then its the night he saw Anna at his show and realized who she was. Though at that time she didn't know what she really was, but Kai just needed to know her and find out what her plan was. She didn't have a plan, she was there for her friend Jay. But little did Kai know, she would be his everything. Part one was a perfect recap, with added details that wasn't in the other books. It was just perfect.
When you get into the next two parts it also recaps the last two books. A huge chunk of the book is just a recap of the first three books with a little more detail than before. So its good incase you forgot a few points and you also get to be inside Kai's mind and get more details than before. Its really awesome to be in his head and see just how crazy Anna makes him.
But I just loved the end of the book. You will need tissues! It was so heart warming to see Kai and Anna being happy and having the life that they deserve. It was so perfect reading about them. And then they decide on starting a family and Kai was so emotional, like nothing you would have really expected. It was perfectly beautiful and the best way to end a series. Wendy is unbelievably talented.
