A New Adult romance stand-alone novel.
I don't want to be here.
When you lose the one person that was your whole life, you'll understand. For me, it was my best friend, Alice. We spent every second of every day together. We planned a life. I was actually living. I was happy.
Now, it's just gone.
And I'm still here. Lonely. A tatted up body with an empty soul.
Getting inside of my head won't be pretty. I'm warning you now that you won't like me. I hate people besides my family. I hate everything around me. I just want to be alone. And I HATE how Logan Mercer doesn't understand that. He's everywhere; getting inside of my head, kissing me when he shouldn't be, messing everything up, and trying to get me to open up. He's making me crazier than I already am. Why do I need to talk about my life? Why does he even care?
Why doesn't anyone understand that I don't want to get attached to people? I don't want to get fixed.
I want to be alone.
I want to be free.
I want to fly.
My name is Rebeckah Lennox and this is my story...of how I fell.
WARNING: Due to heavy subject matter, strong language, possible triggering descriptions of self-harm and some sexual situations this book is not recommended for anyone under the age of 17.
My Review: I'm back with another book by Briana!
This is an awesome love story, and well all know how I like my romance! Rebeckah is an amazing character who has been through a lot. Because of what happen, it had made things harder for her in some ways. She'll talk to you, but its hard and so you might not get much from her. Making friends isn't high on her list. And relationships just aren't on her list either. Trauma is hard on everyone and each person deals differently, and Rebeckah has taken it harder than some.
However, things are about to change for her, and it will be a good change. Logan, this cute guy just happens to notice her. He want's to know her better, but she won't give him the chance to know her. I'm happy he didn't give up though, and will have his sister help him to get closer to her.
After some time, Rebeckah finally starts to let him in. I thought it would have gone smoothly for them and see this amazing thing happen between them. However, there was a blow up and things didn't end up so smooth and perfect like I would have hoped.
No matter what, I never gave up for Rebeckah. You get to know her, like her and just want to give her a big hug and help her out. Yes, her life is tough and the hope isn't exactly there. Memories will always be there, and it can be hard to forget them, but don't give on, Move on,take one day at a time. This story has a lot of realistic points, love, meanings, and a wonderful story to love.
There are some tough parts, that some readers may not be too comfortable with, but I say its worth a try and who knows, you may be able to get through it and see just how amazing the story is.
Ugh Briana has done it again, made me love another one of her books and I can't wait to see what she writes up next!
