Acclaimed author Katie McGarry returns with the knockout new story of two high school seniors who are about to learn what winning really means.

Champion kickboxer Haley swore she'd never set foot in the ring again after one tragic night. But then the guy she can't stop thinking about accepts a mixed martial arts fight in her honor. Suddenly, Haley has to train West Young. All attitude, West is everything Haley promised herself she'd stay away from. Yet he won't last five seconds in the ring without her help.

West is keeping a big secret from Haley. About who he really is. But helping her-fighting for her-is a shot at redemption. Especially since it's his fault his family is falling apart. He can't change the past, but maybe he can change Haley's future.

Hayley and West have agreed to keep their relationship strictly in the ring. But as an unexpected bond forms between them and attraction mocks their best intentions, they'll face their darkest fears and discover love is worth fighting for.

My Review: OMG! Katie's work just gets better and better! This time its all about West and Haley and I just loved these two!

Haley is an awesome fighter and after some time, she decided to stop fighting all together. She likes to keep to herself and just wants to find a way to pay for school once she gets accepted to a college. Her family had to move and is given a curfew by her uncle. Miss it and she sleeps on the street. So yeah, things aren't amazing in her life right now, but soon that will all change......

West ends up being at the right place to sorta help Haley from some guys who wanted some meds from her on the walk home. In the end West ended up being driven to Abby's. His life isn't the best right now either. He may have money to his name and all, but that doesn't mean a thing. First he blames himself for what happened to his sister Rachel. She got into a horrible accident and who knows if the pain will ever go away or if she can ever walk again. Isaiah never leaves her side. Everyone wants West to visit his sister, but he just cant right now. It all ends up with him in a fight with is dad and him getting disowned. Now he has nothing and is living in his car.

Soon the two meet up again in school. Soon things get moving. They have a class together, have their own secrets, end up setting a date for a fight and happen to be together. Yep, isn't school fun?! West wasn't happy with seeing how Haley's face looked and ended up setting a fight with her ex, who happens to be a pretty good fighter. So now she need to get him trained and maybe he wont get his ass kicked.  They end up becoming a couple, at first it was just a hoax, but eventually it becomes something real and they have an amazing chemistry between each other.

The other half of the book, the pace picks up a bit more and things get crazy and amazing and a lot of thing I didn't expect to happen, ended up happening! This was truly amazing and Katie's writing just gets better and better. I love all her books and can't wait to keep reading more!

You can read these books alone, but I love them better in order.
