Samantha is a stranger in her own life. Until the night she disappeared with her best friend, Cassie, everyone said Sam had it all-popularity, wealth, and a dream boyfriend.

Sam has resurfaced, but she has no recollection of who she was or what happened to her that night. As she tries to piece together her life from before, she realizes it's one she no longer wants any part of. The old Sam took "mean girl" to a whole new level, and it's clear she and Cassie were more like best enemies. Sam is pretty sure that losing her memories is like winning the lottery. She's getting a second chance at being a better daughter, sister, and friend, and she's falling hard for Carson Ortiz, a boy who has always looked out for her-even if the old Sam treated him like trash.

But Cassie is still missing, and the facts about what happened to her that night isn't just buried deep inside of Sam's memory-someone else knows, someone who wants to make sure Sam stays quiet. All Sam wants is the truth, and if she can unlock her clouded memories of that fateful night, she can finally move on. But what if not remembering is the only thing keeping Sam alive?

My Review: Right from page one the book has been strong and well written throughout. I loved every moment of it and met some twists and surprises.

Sam is found on the road and taken to the hospital to make sure she is okay. First she has no idea what her name is, so right away you could tell things are going to be hard for Sam. Her parents come in and officers come in. You have questions being thrown at Sam and then her parents are just trying to explain things. After the cops are done with questions they go, well they have to since Same can't remember a dang thing.

Slowly she is taken home and gets to know her large home, room, brother, friends, and boyfriend. A lot to take in for Sam. Her brother comes in shortly after looking around her room and they both chat. He finds out that she really is doesn't remember a thing and so tries to explain some things. What she hears shocks her. She doesn't think she could have done some things, but apparently she hates a person for the craziest things, though he says it has to do with Cassie. She changed when Cassie came into her life and she is still missing.

Sam really should be relaxing and taking things in slowly. Her memory may come back, but who knows when that will be. So she spends some time with her friends, who all look so perfect and she is sitting there scarfing down food.

Eventually she meets her boyfriend Del and explain a lot to her. They have been together for a long time, they have a good relationship. they have decent lives, and she was at his house the night she disappeared. He doesn't really know what happen, just that she got a text and left to go see Cassie. Oh and he tells Sam what he thinks of Cassie and so far Cassie seems like she isnt the best person.

This book shocked me and kept me glued until the very last page. I love all of Jennifer's writing and can't wait to see what other books she can come up with! I haven't read a book by her that I didn't like! Oh and this book will shock you hard when you reach the middle, and the ending is amazing and didn't see some of it coming!
