Theia Alderson has always led a sheltered life in the small California town of Serendipity Falls. But when a devastatingly handsome boy appears in the halls of her school, Theia knows she's seen Haden before- not around town, but in her dreams.
As the Haden of both the night and the day beckons her closer one moment and pushes her away the next, the only thing Theia knows for sure is that the incredible pull she feels towards him is stronger than her fear.
And when she discovers what Haden truly is, Theia's not sure if she wants to resist him, even if the cost is her soul.
My Review: Falling Under has been on my reading list for a long time now. I finally got to it and I have mixed feelings about this book. First of all the book was not bad, but it wasn't amazing.
Let me explain. Theia looks out her window and sees a man on fire that is flying through the sky and hits her lawn. Okay so I thought that all that would lead to something amazing. Theia is super protected ever since her mother died. Now from all I read about her dad, I freaking hated him from the start. There is a strict parent and there is the crazy strict kind. He hit super crazy, and I just didn't like that. After some dreams and mazes that suddenly appear during her sleep, things start to move. Haden shows up in her dream at first and suddenly he is at her school the next day! Haden and Theia will explore the world around them to figure out why everything it so crazy. Why does Theia go through so much in her sleep? Who is Haden exactly? Are they meant to be together? Is he evil?
I really hoped these question would be answered, and they were. Haden is a great guy, and tries to get Theia out of this world they are apart of. Theia loves him and will give anything to make everything right. Souls are at stake and if you give it up, you are in for it.
Okay, thats my short rant of the book. Frankly, I could say so much more, but I just don't feel like saying more. I finished the book, but I just could not keep myself init for long. I took so many breaks before finishing the book. This is a short book and should have taken me a day to finish, but no matter how much I tired, the book and I didn't have any feels ):
