A fresh start…

Determined to have a life of her own, Victoria Weiss flees the safe haven of New Berlin on the planet Mars by accepting an internship on the most remote space station in the solar system. Being the daughter of the Great German ambassador isn’t all glitter and glamour, and Tori needs a fresh start away from her overbearing parents.
But running away from your past isn’t easy when you’ve hidden away the darkest parts. Tori hasn’t trusted men ever since a sexual encounter that left her soul scarred, and when the station’s Chief of Security shows an interest in her, she feels torn between running away from him and allowing herself to open up to new possibilities.

A troubled past…

The last thing Alen Novak expects is to lose his head over an Elite girl. But when Tori Weiss walks into his life, he can’t help but feel she’s different from the Great German leaders who effectively destroyed his Croatian homeland during the Great Wars in Europe. Even though he is the station’s Security Chief, Alen doesn’t command the respect of all his colleagues because of his prison past – and he’s afraid Tori will dismiss him for it right out of the gate. After all, he’s been hurt by a woman he loved before.

Fanning the flames of passion…

There’s no way to avoid working together, though, and the two are irresistibly drawn to each other. Will Tori and Alen learn how to face their darkest fears, or will the past nip their passionate love in the bud?

A sweet, erotic romance for lovers of New Adult with a hint of Futuristic.

My Review:  This was a really good book and was glad to be working with the author.  I really love how this book had everything perfect. The romance was there, and it wasn't the usual jump right into something romance. Everything was built up just right so you can follow along and enjoy the romance unfold. So the story with Alen and Victoria is amazing. Plus I enjoy the fantasy thrown in. Different planets and people living lives, almost like Earth, but with more fun.

So Victoria wants to leave her home. She is the Ambassador's daughter, so that brings perks, but not what Victoria wants. She is young and wants to have her own life and have to keep it on hold. Her parents are not the most flexible people on Mars and so she will leave to intern on another plant.

She arrives on Saturn and it feels good. Away from her parents, can go off and do things without worry. Go ahead and be a normal girl and even find a really cute boy to be with. She likes Alen even if he does have his own past.  The past is just the past and they should just be together and live on. Learn about Alen and what he is like now and don't worry about anything else. So maybe Victoria has this high title on Mars, that shouldn't make Alen think of her as anything else. She is a person after all, I never did like titles on people since you know most people will act differently because of the title.

They have this spark between them and I wish they would just get together faster and not worry about what they don't like about each other. Spend more time and then figure things out, but it just didn't happen fast enough for me! They just waited and let this spark be there until they got into the stars! Because I love these character, I waited along until they finally were happy.  Now if this story continues in another book.....I'll be very happy to read it. Though I do love knowing new characters and having them grow together. I haven't read a book that I want two people to be far apart in yet, so I'm happy to keep reading these books with characters I want to go together so much.

This book does have sexual parts to it. I really enjoyed it and loved the way it was detailed. Just perfectly enough so that you can keep reading and want more. It's not overly done, so that you don't feel like reading anything sexy after a few parts.
