Can the Morcant twins ignite their powers as fledgling mages and defeat the evil inflicting the desert world, or will they and Adjna be irrevocably destroyed?
My Review: This book is a nice fantasy read for anyone. No matter how old you are, you will find a way to just be magically hooked on these characters. Love the imaginary thoughts that must have happened, for this book to be so lovely and magical. After the first few chapters you will be hooked.
I read this book with my niece and for a picky reader she liked it.
Katherine and Mackenzie are twins who are about to go on a journey. So they have these cool powers, but don't realize it for a while. Powers are cool right? Well they will have to learn about it, practice, combine, and hopefully win against the Griseum. Not the easiest thing to do, but in this book, Maria wrote it so perfectly. Each scene flows together just right, and giving you enough details to picture this world coming to life.
Now this Griseum is know to be something of a dragon, and will have the Griseum as an ally when the war comes. So we have Katherine, Makenzie, Percy, and the Griseum all ready to fight for the Princess!
Princess Usha needs their help! She can't rule, when the evil lord and a pair of evil twins have messed up her world. When they have been taken care of, then can she be this amazing princess. She will rule right and her world will be good again. This battle will be big and just reading to see who will win, is addicting! Each character is strong with a personality all their own, which makes for an interesting book full of fun.
A lot of readers would take this book and throw it up there with other popular teen authors. Everyone will probably think of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books. Well thats okay, it's got the right age group and I could see this becoming a mini movie or show. I guess we have to wait until the book to see what will be next and if the book will be just as good.
