Everything has been leading to this moment.  The future of her entire world rests in her hands—if she’s ready to fight for it.

My Review:  OMG!! This is the final book of the trilogy and it's the best! I know I say that about a LOT of books and series, but come on, it's just so goooood. So I'm going to say it anyway, this book was better than the last, and this is just an amazing set of books. Amanda really knows how to write.

So into the book we go! Well last time we left with Wendy having to get married. An arranged marriage to Trove. Now, she isn't thrilled about being married to a random person or to someone she doesn't love. However since she knows Trove and trusts him and all that she agrees to it, but mostly for the sake of being the princess. To make it harder, there is a secret about Trove....he doesn't like the ladies! Yup, he is gay but can't be found out. That would be bad, since his mother is Aurora, its just harder because of the way she is.

So at this point Wendy has decided to take on her Princess role and do what she has to do. It's not so much yelling to leave that world behind anymore. Plus, with Matt staying there, it's not so bad. Though I wonder why Wendy's Aunt isn't mentioned anymore. Could have maybe had a little scene where they call her or something. Idk that's just me.

So onto the book. It's wedding day for Wendy and Trove, they are both nervous about this and hopefully they will do good. I think they work good together, just not in the couple sense, but hey, gotta do what a princess's gotta do. The wedding goes on smoothly until the King decided to crash the wedding. He isn't exactly welcomed, and there is some bickering before things get back on their way.

Now it's the day after the wedding and some unfortunate news has arrived. Another town of trolls were attacked by the Viittra. The village was already a small amount of trolls living there and tons were killed. Maybe a handful of the Vittra were killed. The hobgoblins that killed them seem to be very strong. So Wendy decided on sending out people on a rescue mission. During the meeting about all this, people weren't exactly kind to Wendy, but are they ever? Some people don't like her and think she will ruin the whole existence of them all. Though Wendy is doing her best and does have some people behind her to support her and make sure everyone knows their place.

So now with the rescue team sent out, Wendy and her crew get to work on cleaning the guest rooms for anyone who comes. Then after a long day she goes to rest, and is then disturbed by some really bad news. The rescue team has been hit! Finn is hurt and a member died! Wendy goes to check on them and has Finn sent to go rest once he is seen.  It's then they have to start figuring out a way to stop these hobgoblins and keep everyone safe.

But what plan can they come up with? Is there even a way to stop them and bring peace? Will its on heck of a story I'll tell you, but you already read how I thought of the book earlier.
