It's only been three days, and already everything is different.

Paragon is behind her, but somehow Alessa's life may actually have gotten worse. In a wrenching twist of fate, she traded the safety and companionship of her sister for that of her true love, losing a vital partner she'd counted on for the ordeal ahead. Her comfortable university life is but a distant memory, as she faces the prospect of surviving a bleak winter on the meager remains of a ravaged world. And if she'd thought she'd tasted fear upon seeing a ghost, she was wrong; now she's discovering new depths of terror while being hunted by a deadly virus and a terrifying pack of superhuman creatures thirsting for blood.

And then there are the visions.

The memory-altering "stitch" unlocked something in Alessa's mind, and now she can't shake the constant flood of alien feelings ransacking her emotions. Haunting memories of an old flame are driving a deep and painful rift into her once-secure relationship. And a series of staggering revelations about the treacherous Engineers - and the bone-chilling deceit shrouding her world's sorry history - will soon leave Alessa reeling...

The second installment in the electrifying Stitch Trilogy, Shudder follows Samantha Durante's shocking and innovative debut with a heart-pounding, paranormal-dusted dystopian adventure sure to keep the pages turning.

My Review: Okay so this book will surely make you shudder (hehe) After reading book 2 I can't decide if it beat book one, though it was amazing. Alessa and Isaac are now free from being controlled, so to say. At least now their heads aren't being messed with and they know what is going on. They are going to try and stop the people from taking and controlling people. These people think that they are living normal lives, when actually they are being messed with and recorded at all times for TV.

Now free, Alessa and Isaac trying to survive out in the cold, while facing some issues. Alessa gets these "feelings" perhaps it's from having her memories messed it, but she doesn't know why this happens. While in the mean time Isaac is out looking for food. They each take turns, and try not to stay out long. As they make their trip, Alessa finds a big pile of bones and just knows that they need to run. While running, Isaac gets injured and they must take shelter for now. What was coming after them? Well they aren't sure, but have an idea as to what. What Alessa does know, is that she misses her sister a lot.

Ah! This book is full of twists and turns, it makes the book addicting. The new adventures were filled with more danger and suspense, then they ever expected. In this book we also get to know Alessa and Isaac a lot better. Alessa is a very sweet girl. She is tired of everything going on, she just wants this all to be over and have a better place for the people around her.
Isaac is such a loving guy. He really cares for Alessa and you can tell from the very start. You get to read from his POV. Even though its not much, you do learn a lot in those moments. He also misses his brother.

Now I will end with saying you should all go and read this book! I am dying for the next book. The ending left me crazy! I can't read that and not have the next book in my hand.
