Tina struggles with her attraction to Eric and the vow she made to her husband. Tina tries to keep Eric close to her by trying to set him up with a friend of hers...not to mention concocting scenarios where it is appropriate and not suspicsious to be seen with Eric. In the meantime, Tina's husband uncovers his wife's feelings for Eric though he can never confirm she is having an affair. Eric and Tina are able to stay one step ahead of her husband...but for how long?
My Review: Okay this book was different for me. It's a different story than I'm used to, along with the setup of the book. It's set up like an email at points and sometimes just the date and time, though style usually isn't the most important part. The story is what counts right!? So Tina has some trouble in her life, but who doesn't run into road blocks? Her biggest on is that she is liking this guy Eric, who she shouldn't like. Plus Eric also has road blocks of his own. He is trying to be radio famous, though its a lot harder than he thinks to get there. What is going to happen? Well Tina has her life where she is married, does her thing, goes to the gym and whatever else she needs to do. Sounds all good right? Yeah it's good and she doesn't mind her life, though she and her husband could use some help. Her marriage is pretty bad right now and should be something to work on. Do things ever go as planned? Eh probably not, though things can always surprise you.
As for Eric, he is having his own troubles. Working two jobs, one being at the college where he finds no one will up his role and isn't thrilled about it. Even after some people retire, thing still haven't changed. He has gotten a radio job after doing it during high school, even going back to school hasn't been perfect. He shouldn't have to work two jobs or make what he makes now.
So what will happen once these two meet? Well at first its just friends, having each other to talk and hang out with. Perfectly normal, though too much time makes this suspicious. So should they stop being friends, tell others of their feelings, hide away? Well they stay friends, and Tina tries to put Eric on one of her friends. Tina though can't keep her feelings hidden forever, which will lead her to make a life changing decision. Stay with her husband or leaver him for Eric. I will say this book will throw some twists at any corner, have you on the edge of your seat. Even make you mad at points and questions at others.
