My Review: So you die and then get sent back out into the world. Easy right? Well what does it mean for Elliot who is back for the third time? She has just arrive for the third time and well that usually isn't a good sign, she is stuck. Her memories will slowly come, each time you come back it takes longer for your memories to return. At her return Mel had told her the memories weren't as important as remembering your goals about learning about yourself. Oh an to avoid coming to the Obmil again. Mel does have to remind her that staying at the Obmil for so long, isn't the best choice. In the meantime she can work toward her goal. Now as for her best friend in the afterlife Emma, she has decided to take some time away and has a new guide and doesn't want to be with Elliot much. She had requested some space, in order to do her own thing. She believes that Elliot loves being in control and she knows that Elliot doesn't mean to be like that, but still she is trying to do her thing while still caring about her friend. When it came time for her to eat she went downstairs and she notices this guy who has one nasty attitude, and then a boy shows up by her and tells her that guy is Trevor. So this boy Oliver and her talk a little. He tells her how the three of them will be in the same shop and how Trevor was like that since he arrived, but he doesn't know him very well. The following day before shop she takes a walk and get to the building early, just like she promised to Mel that she wouldn't be late. There she runs into Trevor and he changes the room and not liking the new look she changes it to something more cheerful. Now at the workshop Elliot has one of her memories, she is driving a car and her phone rings. She answers it and next thing you know the van that was coming her way hit a tree and the accident is a big one. Elliot obviously didn't make it, but she does see the woman driving the van with blood coming from her head, she gets out and rips the side door open. A three year old girl is in the back but unharmed, still something is wrong. Screaming the woman runs to the grass where her son lay from being thrown from the windshield. There in the grass dead was Oliver... Quickly Elliot drops down and cries, then looking at Oliver he just says its okay. Mel comes rushing to Elliot and gets her calm and talks quickly about her memory. Also Oliver then explains he is a passenger he came to help Elliot because he loves her. Once the news settles in and she is calm, the workshop can begin. First Mel has Trevor up on the swing and dives into a memory. This memory adds another twist, Trevor is Oliver's brother! Whats hard is that Oliver doesn't remember Trevor let alone wonder how they could be brothers. Trevor is different from Oliver, more in the sense that Oliver is nice and forgiving when Trevor just isn't. Reading this chapter was my favorite. I love having a great twist that makes the book more addicting. While off on her own, Elliot sees Trevor and decides to enter his Delve. Its about him at Oliver's grave and then he sees this girl in the woods and then goes after her. After its over Trevor does something nice. He actually sits down and talks with Elliot and is very nice to her, rather than his nastiness. They talk and work out things and Trevor explains why he was so mean to her. From there they agree to work on things to become better and fulfill their goals, along with the help of Oliver. These three characters are amazing. Elliot is awesome with her strength, bravery, willingness, it all makes her what she is. Trevor may be mean at first but does turn into a loveable guy once you read far enough. Oliver is already a wonderful guy, who just gets better with each turn of the page. Oh and I do like Elliots kissing scene its cute/funny.I love this book and its version of the afterlife and what its like/about. I may need to read more afterlife style books now, you know just add to the pile of never ending books that I must read. By the end of the book I had so many thoughts/emotions about it that I couldn't decided if I was made or sad that it was over. Any who I would take this book and make everyone read it, yes its good even if your not into this style of books.
