My Review: Nara is a girl who after dealing with Fate in killing for her ability to see the future and prevent bad things from happening to the people she is connected with, is just trying to catch a break. But that just never happens. Her boyfriend Ethan has gone away to fix his relationship with his parents. He is pretty much gone until the end, where he returns. While Ethan is away Nara continues to research into his tattoos and the ravens behind it along with the mystery surrounding him, This brings on some attention from an unwelcomed enemy. She is running for her life again and doesn't even know who is trying to kill her while Ethan is away. Now the only time we hear Ethan is when Nara talks about him or the calls and texts between them. On the other hand there is this new kid Drystand. Now him I'm not exactly thrilled. He may be nice, but that isn't all he is. He is pushy. Drystand knows that Nara is taken and yet he is trying to charm her and push his way into her life. Now for me I hate when guys do that, seriously not good. If he causes something that ends up with Nara and Ethan splitting, I won't be happy. Drystand has a special ability, and after Nara ends up pairing with him so that he can help her train to protect herself. The ones who are after Nara also want the journal she has been working on. Eventually Drystand just becomes a good friend to Nara. So she has that on her plate along with Drystand who she doesn't completely trust. In this book we learn alot more about the ravens and how they play in the story. Everything that goes on leads to new twists and to secrets being unfolded. One thing that bothered me is that Ethan was doing more than just fixing his relationship with his family, but doing some other things as well and didn't want Nara to know. He also didn't want her finding out about his tattoo. It just doesn't seem so right. I do have to say that this book left me with more questions and needing to read the next book. Overall this book was a good sequel and becoming an amazing series.
