My Review: Romance, spice and medical genre. Some of my favorite things all wrapped in one and I'm here for it! I've recently discovered the author and read a few books by her and can easily say she has become a new favorite of mine. The kind where I NEED to read her books.
Now for the book.
I loved Dr. Helen right off the bat. She takes on patients that the other Dr. finds too complicated and magically is busy. So, off she goes to help them. She cares and even enforces that it's literally their job to care and take care of the people that come into the ER.
The current patient that just came in through the doors wasn't just someone coming in from a drowning situation, she also knew the guy. Well, she had sex with him. Then cue the having to focus on being a Dr. and ignore the fact he is gorgeous and maybe worry more about taking care of him right now. Though might be easier said than done.
UGH and that was only the beginning and I can't explain how hooked I already was. I devoured this book so quickly.
Helen and Teddy are perfect for each other. They had the chemistry, emotions, tension and banter. It was all there and more. Who knew a one night stand turned into fake dating could actually turn into something real. I loved this and would like to have more now....
