My Review: This series has been a blast, and for me that's a big thing since I'm picky with sports romances.
Brooks and Lia are a great pair. They both give each other what the other needs and watching them both grow and change together was done so seamlessly.
Brooks is having a seriously hard time. An injury took him out and it basically changed the course of him and his team winning the championship. It's hard enough carrying that weight, let alone when an injury comes along and having that weight added on. Brooks isn't going to let any of this hold him back though. He is going to show that he can come back from this and the championship can be theirs.
Lia is lovely and things seem to be going up for her when Brooks shows up at a dinner. But what do you do when your newest job suddenly involves the one person you can no longer have.
Between these two, you get romance, struggles, breakthroughs and so many emotional rides but it ends in the best way. You will love these characters and root for them all the way until the very last page.
