My Review: I love a good Jinn book and was excited when the author reached out to review their book. It was a real joy getting back into Jinn books again.
There were 12 Jinn Kings that held together the veil between the worlds. As each one falls, the strands keeping the veil in place weakens. That quick preview alone grabbed my attention quickly and I couldn't help but zoom through this book, it was that dang good.
Mina has the nickname crazy girl because she is a seer and can see beyond the veil and they could look like just anyone else. But it doesn't help Mina when it looks like she's talking to the air to those around her. Mina is also someone who can see Jinn, talk to them and more with or without the ring.
But her goal out of everything is to save her mother's Jinn. Get in her way or mess with her? Well...it's not going to go well for you.
The characters, world building and backstory was done so incredibly well. I absolutely loved this story from the very first page and left me wanting more. This author is one to watch for and I certainly can't wait to read more by the author!
