My Review: Who would've thought that backing up into a fancy Range Rover would blossom into such passion.
A small accident, that left nothing but a tiny scratch and both moved on with their day, not expecting to see the other again.
Well...when Paisley drives onto the ranch, the very owner of said Ranger Rover just happens to be the guy who hired her to train his daughter on how to care and ride her horse. Caleb, the oh so wonderful jerk, garbage, and a list of other names Paisley has bestowed upon him. He took it even worse. But DAMN can he be a real jerk up the behind.
Paisley is the best trainer in this small town and does amazing with Evelyn and teaching her with such kindness and patience. Besides that, she joins her bestie who works at the coffee shop for some girl time. Even bring her grandpa some pot pie was such a sweet interaction. Her friends are supportive and even in the bar scene you can see how Ryder instantly turns to Caleb and ask what he did and why he just couldn't cut back on being a jerk. Even if Caleb is family, he's gonna support his Paisley cakes.
Caleb is a hot mess. He is constantly going from over protective over his daughter to wanting revenge to being unable to handle Paisley but also his pants having other plans.
Things changed when Pasiely offered to watch Evelyn while Caleb went out of town. The girls are hapoy together and because of Paisley being sonawesome, she got Evelyn to open up. Revealed a few things that was a little shocking, but this little girl needed someone and Pasiely may just be thay someone.
A simple
accident that all children have, might have been the first step to Caleb
understanding he does love Evelyn and his fear of her being hurt is a sure
sign. But now that Paisley will be staying around to care for her, maybe she
can get through to Caleb even more. I mean, its that or his rudeness will land
in a punch.
They are fantastic together. At moment's it'll pull at your heart strings. It's witty, romantic, passion, fire, everything you expect from A.L. Jackson. This new series is going to quickly be a favorite of mine.
