After accidentally unleashing the gods from their captivity on Olympus, Helen must find a way to re-imprison them without starting a devastating war. But the gods are angry, and their thirst for blood already has a body count.

To make matters worse, the Oracle reveals that a diabolical Tyrant is lurking among them, which drives a wedge between the once-solid group of friends. As the gods use the Scions against one another, Lucas’s life hangs in the balance. Still unsure whether she loves him or Orion, Helen is forced to make a terrifying decision, for war is coming to her shores.

In Josephine Angelini’s compelling conclusion to the masterfully woven Starcrossed trilogy, a goddess must rise above it all to change a destiny that’s been written in the stars. With worlds built just as fast as they crumble, love and war collide in an all-out battle that will leave no question unanswered and no heart untouched.

My Review: The gods are out and they aren't happy about it. The news is full of all kinds of things happening in the world. Not only that, but they are coming for the scions.

As all the houses come together to discuss what is happening and what to do next, things get out of control. Helen accidently hurts Lucas pretty badly. But she quickly takes him and they disappear right there. Helen is also able to create her own world. Another new power she didn't know she had. Not only did doing this save Lucas, but she also explained that all the fighting the houses have been doing was for nothing this whole time.

As Helen and Lucas get back to earth, they find a challenge has started between two houses. After that, another challenge comes along. Zeus wants Helen and her world. Helen has the power to end all this and Zeus won't stand for it, he doesn't fair well with someone having more power than him.

After a fight that didn't go as planned, things shift quickly. Lucas runs off to make a secret deal, Helen goes after him. Daphne reveals more lies and things are just in chaos.

So Helen comes up with a plan. She'll give Zeus what he wants. However, Helen is smarter and didn't agree to what Zeus said and careful said her deal. She outsmarted the gods and trapped them once again. Just like that everything starts to change. The other gods back off and leave and everyone can finally breathe in relief. Now it's time to clean everything up and somehow get back to a normal life.

But best of all is Helen and Lucas getting the destiny they deserved. Finally getting to be together.

I loved this entire series, it was a great take on Greek Mythology.
