The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.

Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California - and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.

As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfill her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.

In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all.

My Review: Clara is starting her next chapter. She and her friends are going to Stanford University. So far everything seems to be going fine. There's the random university traditions and parties going on. Classes are going well and Clara even figured out exactly what she want's to do with her life.

It's all perfectly normal until her visions get more intense, Angela ends up pregnant and Clara's dad shows up to start training her for the trials that are about to come. Welp, there goes a somewhat normal life now.

Clara invites Christian to join her on her training sessions and they both grow closer and become more prepared for what's to come. Clara nearly masters glory and it's amazing to see her power grow and just how powerful she has really become.

It's when Angela finally has the baby that things start to really pick up. Clara's vision comes to life and they are able to make it out. Except now, Clara and Christian have Angela's baby, Angela was taken and they also have to be on the run before the black wings find them.

Soon Clara has a plan to save Angela. She and Christian with some help are able to find and save her. But they aren't safe once they reach earth just yet. Fresh out of hell and here comes Angela's dad and sister coming after them. Oh but that's not all! There is a surprise reveal and Tucker gets caught up in all this.

But that ending was exactly the right way to go. I loved how it ended and how it left it open for another book to happen in the future. It's finally the happy and peaceful life they needed and deserved.
