My Review: This was so good!
At the start, I was not a fan of Salinger at all. Could I blame him? Eh he was a teenager who had to know what he was doing to a point. It really shouldn't have ended with Maren taking the hit for caring about him.
Now jump ahead a few years later and things have switched. Salinger addiction got to the point he wasn't the worlds favorite anymore and is going to have to prove he has changed. While Maren had gotten married, nasty divorce from the jerk ex and well the world just loves her again.
Will Maren work with Salinger again? Um in how many ways can she say no. A lot actually, but when she reads a script that came unknowingly from Salinger, she couldn't pull herself away. She was pulled into this story, which was written just for her to be the lead.
So what happens now? Well after a sneaky attempt, a family scare, and some time. Maren finally agrees but with many rules and Salinger will agree to them. He will prove he has changed.
Salinger does prove he has changed, he isn't that young kid anymore and has it way more together now. As he and Maren become closer, you can see it in so many ways. I love when he stands up for her when it comes to her ex calling her, that was a great scene!
The ending will melt your heart and make you believe that people can change for the better and create something amazing just by giving him that one chance.
