I like to think I’m a practical person.
Car stop working? Thank God for mechanic
boyfriends.
Goldfish floating upside down? Well, I clearly
shouldn’t have a fish.
Irrefutably attracted to one of my new
roommates? I’ve lost my mind, obviously.
Did I mention my roommate is also a female? As
well as the reason I’m in this house?
When I got my dream job at a Los Angeles
hospital over six hundred miles away from home, I didn’t hesitate when another
perfect offer fell into my lap.
Large house. Four other girls my age—one of whom
is on the shift I’m coming into. Room for rent at a crazy low price.
Yes, please.
Except, now she’s in every part of my life, and
I can’t keep telling myself I’m losing my mind.
Because her slow smirks and mesmerizing laugh make
me want her in ways I shouldn’t. Her soft touches and earth-shattering kisses
have me questioning everything I thought I knew.
And now, my heart’s getting tangled up in this
too.
My Review: I was pretty
surprised to see that this book was all about the new girl who just moved in
but it it did tie in well.
Kingsley is moving to LA.!
Well, in fact she just arrived to her new L.A. home. Ooops, I mean mansion,
Kingsley is floored at the house she pulled up to and can't believe this is her
new home. She is so excited for this new chapter in her life and is going to
live her best life.
Well...her boyfriend,
friends and family don't think so. They not only think it's a bad idea, but
have pool on how long it'll be until she moves back. Her boyfriend? I can't
stand him at all. Her friends? Gosh! There was one that I liked, but the rest I
just wanted to smack them for her, in fact I'm surprised all Ari did was yell
at them.
Ari, we got to learn about a little in the
first book, she's like the mother of the group. Makes dinner and makes sure the
bills get paid and is just a really great person all around.
Ari, not only invited Kingsley to move in and
live with them, but she'll also be her mentor at the hospital where they'll be
working together. How's it going? Well it's been really up and down for a
little bit there, but when we go to the ending everything just worked out
perfectly.
All the girls are now in a good place,
getting along great and there are even some moving out going on and a huge
surprise that I hope we get to dive into with the next book!
I loved this book and can't wait for the next
one!
