My Review: Even in another world, Neferet hasn’t changed. She wants to be at the top, but luckily there will also be a group ready to knock her down.
Neferet leaves the HON and causes a little mayhem along the way. Well, if you call having her snakes feed and kill a whole floor of people little. Then while plotting with the bull, she gets on a private jet, kills a few more people and walk around like she’s already the queen.
Zoey just can’t stand Neferet. At ALL. But who can blame her, Zoey dealt with Neferet firsthand and then there’s a second one? She wants nothing more that to go back to the other world, take care of her and finally know that both worlds can be a peace without Neferet in it. But to use old magick is dangerous as is, they can’t keep using it.
The ending leads to such anticipation for the next book. Zoey is working on keeping her world happy and here comes Neferet opening a portal from her world. The next book is sure to be full of everything you have come to expect from the HON world and so much more! I love these books and can’t wait to see how this end.
