My Review: Betty is done. Done with Thom’s long work trips, lack of communications and the bad sex. So what is she to do? Pack up her stuff and leave her fiancé of course. But just as she is making that step to freedom, she finds that an explosion is going to be the least of her worries.
Betty is rushed off in an ambulance, leaving her friend behind at the scene and clearly worried about her. But these aren’t normal paramedics that just didn’t want her friend along for the ride. No, they just happen to drug Betty, interrogate her, and then Thom shows up and they stop….
Have you guessed it yet? Yup, Thom isn’t exactly who he says he is. In a heartbeat, Betty is tossed into this new world of mystery, lies, secrets and more. Given some time over the shock of it all, Betty listens to Thom talk. He spills a lot of secrets and even manages to get Betty to being his fiancé again after a few more chapters.
Barely halfway and things don’t look like it’s going to slow down anytime soon. This book is AMAZING. Kylie is a Rockstar at writing and I can’t wait to dive into her next novel!
