My Review: Love this! A super-fast,
sweet, romantic, and heart grabbing read all in one!
Langley needs a date. A super good kind of bad boy to take to her step-sister's wedding. Easy right? Well....Langley didn't really think it all through when she walked into a bar without any real clue as to what she was doing.
Lucky for her, Iker was there to save the night! What was about to become a real dangerous night, Iker comes around and knocks those horrid guys on their ass. Yup, and then takes her across the street for some coffee. Hero and coffee with the hot hero? Why not, the night can't get worse than what just almost happened.
By the end of the night,
Langley has a date and Iker has a way to pay for his brother’s college. They knew
they had to play the part well to pull this off. They didn’t expect things to
go the way they did.
Iker can’t take the way Langley’s
family treats her. He has no issues stepping in and letting them know how he
feels and protecting Langley at the same time. Days go by, they get to know
each other more and eventually it finally happens. They finally gave in and
fell for each other.
But when the deal came to an
end, Iker had one of the hardest choices to make. He leaves the next morning
and leave Langley a note that is swoon and tear worthy. He fell in love with
her, he needs to go back into the army and he just couldn’t bring himself to
tell her. But no matter what, I believe that Langley will wait for him to
return home.
An absolute treasure to read
