Things are going well for Callie
and Kayden. They’re still dealing with their past and the pain connected to it,
but for the most part they’ve moved on. The biggest decision they have at the
moment is what they want to do with their lives in the future.
Eventually, though, the past catches up with them and they’re left facing tough choices. But Callie and Kayden learn that as long as they have each other, they can make it through just about anything. And in the end, they discover what they really want out of life.
My Review: Loved seeing the end of Callie and
Kayden's story.
Callie and Kayden are doing great. Going to
school, spending time together, and being happy. However, there are days where
Kayden still has trouble letting go of things and being happy.
Kayden goes to class, plays football, goes to
his therapist, hasn't talked to those who hurt him and he has the best girl in
the world. Yet, he still lest his past get to him. Unfortunately, his past is
going to come back, but only for a short time. He will finally face his mother
and the loss of the man who hurt him. Only then can he really feel freed from
his past and look forward.
Callie is stuck on writing her latest story,
however, it doesn't take long before she sparks a title and the story starts to
flow from her. Classes are going well, her life is moving forward and she has
the best guy out there. Currently she is doing well and hopes to get Kayden to
live with her as their next step.
Together they will help each other. Kayden
surprising Callie with their own apartment is just the start. Once the Holidays
are over, they can finally finish moving in and making the place their own.
Callie being there when Kayden faces his past and watching him be truly happy.
The greatest part of all is Callie looking at her necklace with her new
name...Kayden's name.
