My Review: Zera along with a few other girls are standing in front of the royal family. Being one of the girls in consideration to become the Prince's bride. But Zera is really a Heartless under the control of the witch who has her heart.
Zera hasn't always been a
heartless, nor did she ever plan to steal the heart of a Prince. Zera and her
family were attacked a horridly killed. A witch came by and brought Zera back
by making her a heartless. Since then she has been bound to that witch. Doing
as asked, taking things, and getting stabbed a few times.
After a recent attack, Zera
learns it was no ordinary attack. That the blade carried a way to kill witches.
Which means that another war is coming and the witches are worried. They aren't
sure if they can survive another war. So they make a deal. If Zera goes
undercover and takes the heart of the Prince then Zera and her friends will be
given their hearts back and have a second chance at a normal life.
Zera with the excitement of
having her heart back, she agrees to do what is needed. At first Zera was
having a little fun with learning the ropes of being noble. How to dress, sit,
act, talk, the whole nine yards. And once she arrives, the real work is about
to being.
The story line, characters,
build up, everything about this book was lovely! I can't wait to have my hand
on the next book!
