My Review: I loved the first book in the series. However, this one fell short. It took me a long time, nearly until the end of the book to actually like it. 

Cassia is determined to find Ky at any cost. With a little help from a few people around her, she is able to do just that. Her determination led her to find Ky and now she is determined that they will find a way to reach and join the rebellion.  

Ky is trying to survive and see Cassie again. The day he saw her again its like a spark re-lit in him. However, when it comes to talk about the rebellion, it hits a sore spot for Ky. He knows about it and those who have lost their lives due to it. 

A majority of the story was just Ky and Cassie trying to find each other. Then it was mainly focused on how they and their friends will get to the rebellion. It wasn't as surprising with twists and turns as the first book. It was more straightforward and frankly boring. 

I'm really hoping the final book turns out amazing.
