Ivy Morgan hasn't been feeling like herself lately. Not like anyone can blame her. After all, being held captive by a psychotic fae prince hell-bent on permanently opening the gates to the Otherworld is bound to leave some mental scars.

It’s more than that, though. Something dark and insidious is spreading throughout Ivy, more powerful than she could ever imagine... and it’s coming between her and the man she’s fallen deeply in love with, elite Order member Ren Owens.

Ren would do anything to keep Ivy safe. Anything. But when he makes a life altering choice for her, the fallout of his act has far reaching consequences that threaten to tear their lives apart.

If Ivy is going to have any hope of surviving this, she must put aside the hurt and betrayal she feels, and work with not only those she loves, but with an enemy she would rather kill than ever trust. War is coming, and it soon becomes clear that what Ivy and Ren thought they knew about the Order, themselves, and even their enemies, has been nothing but a cluster of dangerous, deadly lies.

Ivy knows she must be more than just brave to save those she loves--and, ultimately, to save herself.

Because behind every evil fae Prince, there’s a Queen…

My Review: I refuse to believe that this series is over. Nope, nope, let the denial process happen. Yes this series is just THAT AMAZE BALLS. (Yes, I did just say that).

Ren and Ivy have been through so much, but mostly Ivy so to speak.  She went from killing Fae, to being a halfling, kidnapped by the Prince to have a kid, escaped, helped by good Fae and work with them. Oh and then she was stabbed by those who were to keep her safe and now her skin is shimmery and ears pointy. I'd say she's had a lot happen.....

Ren  has had to deal with ignoring Ivy when she really needed him, being kidnapped as well, nearly losing Ivy and becoming friend with Tink.

Together they've been through a lot. But, together they will find a way to end this and send the evil Fae back to their world or kill them. They are working for their tomorrow and start to a somewhat normal life together. On top of that, I loved how Tink grew and pulled off some great surprises and was always there for Ivy.

As the book progressed, the emotions just grew until you realized that you just finished the book. Together Ren, Ivy and Tink work together with the good Fae, Summer Fae Prince to reveal a surprising twist, and evil Queen. In the end it was enough, everyone made it out alive. They now have the chance for a normal life, at least for a few years.

One of the best series I've read in a long time. Jennifer's writing never fails to amaze me and her take on the Fae was top notch!
