My Review: Not only did I get this lovely ARC to read, but I got some cool swag too. D.E. Night is a great author to work with as well as a great writer.
Anywho...
Ivy has always lived her life behind this magical barrier. She never expected what could happen if she crossed the border. So when her powers awaken, Ivy will learn things aren't going to be easy. Nope, time to go through the Halls, learn about gems, and mastering her magical blood, oh an all while being threatened. Well that's certainly a change from being in a kitchen right?
But somehow through all the surprises Ivy keeps finding herself in trouble. She shouldn't be breaking rules or doing things outside of the training she's had. But oh well! Ivy is strong and she can get through all the crazy. Oh and the ending was a huge shocker. Yup you will need your hands on the next book like yesterday. It's just that good.
Oh yeah, if you loved Harry Potter like I do, then you shall have to give this a try at least based on that.
