My Review: Heard a lot about this series. I've had this book sitting around for a while now and finally got to it. However, I wasn't impressed and the book ended up being a DNF.
Nym is a slave girl. She's back up for auction and her 15th owner. But when a man was being horrid to a little girl slave, she lost it. Her elemental power was released and,now they've all seen it. Not only did she kill the man and the innocent girl, but when she woke up she didn't know where she was and who her new owner was.
To make it worse, the owner will have her learn to use and control her powers. Nym will be an asset to her. But Nym is just not the best character. Too short tempered, doesn't listen, and just not a character i could stand to read anymore.
