My Review: Woah....I LOVED this book!
I felt for Haven. She did have it tough, with being pulled out of school, home schooled, one friend, and your life is being controlled. That is not okay, and it's even worse when you do it to your child at a young age. It wasn't fair and now shes just shy and keeps to herself. So when she and her friend Cora get away from it all, they find the Raven Riders.....
Dare meets Haven and suddenly he takes her in and will do anything he can to know all about her and always keep her safe. He helps Haven break out of her shell, learn how strong and amazing she is. He was able to help her grow through the story and reading about them together was wonderful.
I couldn't put this down. Laura just has super amazing writing skills! However, this is a spin off from her Hard Ink book. Which are also amazing! So you may meet characters that you might remember from those books or be slightly confused if you haven't read those books yet. Either way you don't have to read those books to read this series.
