My Review: First off, I was so thrilled to get an ARC of this book. I dove right in and once again fell in love with another book by Katie. She never disappoints and you totally need to read all her books!!
Anywho...this is Chevy and Violets story. These two were lovely to read about and now I got to see why they are the way they are in other books.
Violet is strong, beautiful, smart and really cares for Chevy. Even though she leaves him, they find a way back to each other. After all, Violet has loved Chevy all her life. But once her dad died, things changed for her. She couldn't stand the Reign of Terror, and now has to be the one doing all the saving. So she had to cut all ties and focus on taking care of herself and her brother.
But getting away from these boys aint easy....they are always around. They won't go away and her dad was a big part of the club so they will be there. Its their version of a family. The Reign of Terror really aren't that bad as people think.
Then you have Chevy, who has the looks, is smart, and a decent football player. So he's doing the typical teenage life. Being late to class, not having a note, playing sports, and missing Violet. One thing he doesn't want to think about is the club. Its around that time where he needs to decide about joining and his place in the club.
They both have their things to sort out, but seeing them together is amazing. Watching how they came to be and loving these characters all over again. It was emotional and perfect. I can't wait for Katie's next book!
