My Review: I'm back with another Bennett story!
Max is successful. He's great at business and ha taken the family business to the next level. Everything seems perfect right now. Though he doesn't plan on settling down anytime soon. However that is about to change. When he runs into Emilia, he can't stop thinking about her. They were great friends until she had to move away and now that he ran into her, all he can think about is how beautiful she looks.
Emilia has had a different life. She's a physical therapist, pretty much left at the alter and is taking care of a sick relative. She does everything with a smile. She does well at masking how she really feels. Despite it all, she is amazing and once her walls start to come down, you can't help but love this story.
They start to hang out again, but careful no to push past that line. But once it's been crossed, you cant deny what they have. Max was able to get Emilia to open up and not have her be afraid to give her heart away, and this time it wont be broken. Now that things are fitting together perfectly, Max now really thinks he has everything.
It was another perfect romance. I can never read Layla's
books fast enough. She never fails to deliver that perfect heart loving
romance.
