For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.

Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source—a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes... and none of them will ever be the same.

My Review: I liked the idea of this story and as I dove in, I loved it. Everything was built well, the characters are lovely and easy to like or hate. And the story was lovely.

Kiera and Denny are finally going to be together every single day. She transfered schools to be in Washington because Denny got this dream job. They were going to stay at a house that Dennys friend owns. So everything seems to be going well. They have a place to stay, they have each other, he'll have his dream job, she'll be able to finish school and even gets a job pretty fast. What could go wrong?

Well...lets meet their roommate Kellan...the really cute guy, whos in a band and is the lead singer. What could go wrong there....Well let me tell you, things get a little crazy..

First off, they barely talk. Kiera and Kellan and just roommates and thats it. Until they start to talk more and become friendly enough that she doesn't have to be so awkward in the house around him. So with that all set, they all live together all happy and go to hear his band play and everything is perfect.

Then Denny has to suddenly go away for his new job....I never thought this was a set-up. But it was a very very cruel set-up for Denny to do and that really annoyed me. So while Denny is away, Keira is freaking out. She wants to be with Denny all the time and doesn't wan't to spend any time apart. But Kellan decided to be a good friend and distract her until Denny comes back. What ends up happening is they gave in.

But when Denny rushes back to be with Kiera after she decided to be done if he was going to be away even longer. She loves Denny she really does and she tries hard to do everything right and not feel guilty.

But things start to unfold and thats also when I started to lose interest in the book. You could tell what was going to happen, but it was dragged out for so long that it just started to get annoying and you just wanted it to happen already.

The ending of the book made up for it a little bit, but right up until those moments, I loved the book. But, I'm still going to dive into the next book and hope it doesn't have such a dragged out ending. But I did love this book non the less.
