The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.
Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.
Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.
After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?
My Review: Another perfect book by Kylie! Day of release, I ran and got the book, then devoured it in a day. Ugh Kylie has a true gift!
Lydia is getting married! Day of the wedding, she is all dressed up and ready to go. But within moments, shes gotten a video, jumped a fence and stands in some strangers shower. Her perfect day went a whole new direction. Who would have thought that her perfect man isn't really all that perfect. Maybe the lack of romantic direction should have been a signal.
Then enters Vaughan, a hot musician who just came home to someone chilling in his shower. Yup, and the best part, he's in all his glory. Yup, only the beginning and things are crazy addicting. Instead of being all crazy. He is actually pretty nice. Talks to Lydia, gets her out of the shower, makes some coffee and they get to chatting.
After some chatting, they decide to just head back to the wedding. Well, the wedding party came to them. The crazy in-laws all lashed out. They flipped and will pretty much do all they can to make Lydia the crazy bad person. That Chris could never be hooking up with the best man. Lets just say after a punch has been thrown, things just got even better. Oh and it looks like its the type of town, where everyone knows everyone and everything.
Now thats just the first few chapters of the book. And its just beyond amazing and addicting. They way Vaughan and Lydia developed their connection, was just great. Kylie has such talent when it comes to bringing their characters together. I can never have enough of her books.
