My Review: Luke has survived an injury that really should have killed him. But now hes recovered and ready to take on the world again. But there are a few snags in the road.
He's got a chance to play for his hometown team. His mum is sick. And he is looking for that special someone. How is he going to do it all. Well lucky for him, Roberta is the perfect package. Not only does she find his mum outside looking all lost, she also happens to have the power to take care of her. So Luke hires her on the spot.
Roberta is in a new town, has a new job, so things should start getting better. What she didn't plan was to fall for another baseball player. But here they are, under the same roof with a spark you can't deny. This is one of my favorites. Since they live together, they have an easy way to know about each other, it would all be so perfect if a secret hadn't come out.
Luke was ready. Make Roberta his, has his mum taken care of, and a baseball career. He's got it all and couldn't be happier. But when the secret is out, everything may just shatter.
I loved Roberta and Luke. So cute and you could see something like this happening. They work well together. Their lives are just starting and I know it'll be something great!
I have no idea how Collette manages to write such amazing books. The feels are always there, you'll always be on the edge of your seat, its always an amazing read. She's an author that you can't help but love. Anything you read after this, will have a lot to compete with.
