My Review: This is a strong book and done very well. I ended up liking this book way more than I planned.
Janet is sworn in and has started her training to be an assassin. She does well and soon becomes fully transformed into the Red Hourglass. She is eager to start her service for the White Queen.
Janet quickly dives into her mission. She will do what it takes to find out where her mum is. She is moving fast and finding out everything she needs to know about Wilmar. What she didn't expect is actually wanting Wilmar. So now what does she do? Ignore this love, finish the job and find her mother? Give up her loyalty to the White Queen, go through with her feelings and never find her mum? Janet doesn't have it easy right now. She wants to love him and see what unfolds in a life together. But she also wants to find her mum. Maybe she can have love and still manage to find her mum.
Though, the White Queen isn't kind to those who aren't loyal to her. So Janet needs to stay alive to get anything she may want. However, she has the skills to survive and get everything she wants. It's such a strong book, that you will fly through the pages and enjoy every second of it. Worth the read, and this is an author to watch.
