She follows all the rules.

He’s going to teach her how to break them.

After a heartbreaking tragedy, successful attorney Amelia Crowley has numbed herself to the pleasures of life, clinging to a specific set of rules, finding strength in order and organization. When she meets easy going surfer Ryan Fielding, that organized life is turned upside down by a sea of washboard abs and sun-kissed hair.

Sexy and charismatic, Ryan looks for pleasure however he can find it in an effort to silence his own inner demons. Until Amelia crashed into his life the only thing he chased was the next wave. Refusing to break their connection and determined to break through her carefully crafted walls, Ryan sets out to throw out every rule in her book and show Amelia that pleasure can't be planned.

Can Amelia let Ryan take the lead or will she cling to her rules and wipe out their chance at love?

My Review: First off, the Harry Potter reference just made me like the book eve more. Cause well, its Harry Potter duh.

Anywho, Leslie took depression, and turned it into this amazing story. It's such a tough subject and yet everything flowed so nicely, and she really got the mood down. Oh and the title goes perfectly with the book once you read it.

So Amelia is battling depression. She has been battling for years, and its different for everyone. Though, I feel its harder for Amelia since is came after a traumatic event. Amelia has all the thoughts, feelings, and everything one could feel during depression. The feels were even stronger as you read about Amelia get one her journey to recovery. Everything you need in a book is there.

Then you have Ryan. The sexy guy that makes you swoon. I love his coffee habit, I'll say that. He's the easy character in the book. But once he meets Amelia, she sorta breaks free a little and you get to see more of her apart from her sadness.

These two are complete opposites. Ryan wants to get through Amelia, create something real, and get Amelia to break her rules. Can he do it? Or will Amelia, stick to her rules and lose out at a chance of love?

I just loved this book. I went through it so fast, and pretty much flipped out when I didn't have the next book already. Yup, it was one of those books. Just plain amazing and an author to watch!
