| My Review: This book isn't even out yet and I'm already waiting on book 2! Some of you already know my love for Sophie's books. I tend to read everything she writes and I've yet to be let down by her. I've mostly read all YA by Sophie, and this book is meant for a more mature audience. So I wasn't sure how this book would end up, but I have no clue why I doubted anything. This is an incredible read. Anywho...onto the book... Knox is a guy that you can see and just know there is something about him that screams stay away, and yet you still want to know all about him. Its even more perfect in this book, because Knox is actually a bad boy behind bars. And Briar is a nurse who is supposed to just treat the inmates and nothing else. Yet, they meet and you know things are going to go down. You know things are going to be intense and wonderful, when Knox comes to save Briar when trouble goes down with other inmates. He is then out and is working hard to show he is a decent guy. Wants a job, and just do everything he can to stay out and hopefully he and Briar can stop fighting this connection and just finally give into it. Though things become tricky with these two. One only wants one thing. One develops strong feelings. One keeps leaving and having doubts. Its just UGH. It drove me nuts. I just wanted them to finally noticed this is right and have a real relationship. Yes the scenes are hot and all that, but I was extra happy when they finally started to become something more. And then it ended....so I really need the next book! |
