My Review: I've had this on my TBR for so long now and finally got to it. It turned out to be pretty decent and I should have gotten to it sooner.
Donna is a nice girl and just has some bad luck. Her parents are out of the picture, got ink so the fae wouldn't bother her. Gets called a freak, home schooled, and well thats just some of the stuff going on in her life.
Donna knows she will never have a normal life. So shes happy to have Navin in her life. They have been best friends for a long time. Things just go like normal, until the evil fey come out. She isn't too worried until they take Navin. Now she must go after the wood fey to get him back. But it would also mean that she has to accept her role. Her role in the fey world.
To accept it means danger. All to save her friend. She will be going against everything that people had died for. But Donna is strong and smart. Maybe she'll find a way to save Navin without really taking on a role. Or maybe she can work it to her advantage. But no matter what, Donna faces this danger to save Navin and is just amazing to watch her go to great lengths for her friend.
