As the lead singer of Stage Dive, Jimmy is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it, whether it's booze, drugs, or women. However, when a PR disaster serves as a wake-up call about his life and lands him in rehab, he finds himself with Lena, a new assistant to keep him out of trouble.
Lena's not willing to take any crap from the sexy rocker and is determined to keep their relationship completely professional, despite their sizzling chemistry. But when Jimmy pushes her too far and Lena leaves, he realizes that he may just have lost the best thing that ever happened to him.
My Review: It's time for Jimmy's story! It starts off with a bang. He's having a tough moment. Throwing things, trying to get a drink, he's just not having the best day right now. Plus its an even harder day since its the funernal for the one person who treated him like he was her own son. The drummer, Mal's mom died. She was there with the band from the start and was an awesome lady.
Then you have Lena. His live in babysitter/assistant/everything. She does everything she can to help Jimmy stay strong, keep sober and do anything she can for him. She's a tough chick and handle Jimmy pretty well. But when those feelings start to show up, things are going to get a little tricky. Either she'll deal with it, or decide to leave and ignore the feelings completly.
But Jimmy is so clueless to how Lena feels for the longest time. It took her explaing that he reason for leaving was these feelings she had. Then Jimmy didn't act nicely after that. Trying to ignore it and just laugh at Lena. Such a big no no. But seriously Jimmy needed such a big push and I was getting very annoyed with him at times. But lucky nearing the end, the moment I've been waiting for had happened and the story ended with me not so annoyed with Jimmy anymore.
I just can't get enough of Kylies books. She is so freaking talented. Now I'm off to read the last stage dive....
