When did you realize that you wanted to become
a writer?
When I was seven years old I started writing
fiction and at 9 I realized that was what I wanted.
Is being an Author all you dreamed of, or did
it just happen? The best and worst thing about it?
I never thought about it, let's say it just
happened so, I haven't planned it. The best thing is having a vivid
imagination; the worst - a few of the authors make a full time living.
What was the very first thing you ever wrote?
A
crime-adventure story called "Black Weekend"
What made you create (your book)? How did it come to you?
I was seven at that
time and was reading Tom Sawer and Huckelberry Finn and was influenced by Mark
Twain.
Who is your literary hero?
I don't have a
literary hero, honestly.
How much of your characters are based on your
traits or someone you know personally? Some are based at some extensions,
others - not. I think every author’s characters come and originate from him or
her. In order to be able to develop and describe a character convincingly, be
it evil or good, a murderer or a psychopath, one must have understanding of
them, that is to know them.
Describe your main character in six words.
In The Wishing Coin that is Julia Preston -
ambitious, greedy for fame, young and boisterous. In Back
To The Viper there are four main characters.
What scene was your favorite to write?
In The Wishing Coin the scenes when the
street vendor, especially when he took the wising coin; in Back to The Viper -the
scenes of the band's live showcase.
What scene was the hardest for you to write?
If
something is hard to write it's during the whole story, can't remember of.
What are you working on now?
I write the second
book of the short story The Witch's Kiss
Goals? Accomplishments? Improvements?
What is on your nightstand? A lot of books - Harry Potter
currently among the many.
Are there any authors or books you recommend? I enjoyed Terry
Schott's The Game and I am planning to buy his second book in the series; I
discovered recently Nick Stephenson's Leopold Blake series and I like it.
What's your favorite thing to do when you're
not writing?
Answering interview questions or sending email campaigns (kidding
about email campaigns). I do realy enjoy reading good books.
